​​5/31/2016: if you’re a fan of President Dwight Eisenhower – this is your place to visit! He is a homegrown hero here!! He had 6 brothers and they all fit into a small modest home with 3 bedrooms – his Mother sounds like a classic, well organized, God fearing Midwest Mom! Take a look at a few local photos. Right beside the presidential museum and library is Old Abilene,  an historic example of the cowboy and cattle drive legacy of this town as well!! Not much else going on here! Tomorrow we are off early for 106 miles of riding with 6000 ft of climbing,    Early to bed tonight!!
