I know that making a charitable donation is a very personal choice. I have my favorites to which I donate faithfully each year and, in addition, I often will select one or two additional organizations that demonstrate the kind of direction I enjoy assisting.
I hope you will find that the Team Godfather Charitable Foundation becomes one of those organizations for you. As I briefly mentioned in the “About” section of this blog–TGCF is made up of a small but very dedicated group of people who possess a strong sense of community; who have a desire to make a difference right where their family and friends live and who insist that all the money that is raised be directed towards research to find a cure for ALS. An organization located in Cambridge, Mass. known as ALS TDI is whom Team Godfather selected to receive our donations. ALS TDI (Therapy Development Institute) is the world’s first and largest nonprofit biotech focused 100 percent on ALS research. Led by people with ALS and their families, the Institute understands the urgent need to slow and stop this disease. Here are a few of the reasons why our group chose ALS TDI:

Team Godfather Charitable Foundation is a local Encinitas, California organization founded in 2009, whose goal is to raise a million dollars by the end of next year. We are close and with your help we will get to and beyond that amount. TGCF is a legally recognized 501(c)3 charitable organization. Remember, small organizations like ours and others located throughout the USA, and globally –all working to fund ALS research–can and will make a difference!
