6/10/2016: it’s Friday and I think everyone must have a half-day work schedule– the roads initially were sweet to ride but as we reached the closer outskirts of Indy- wow!! We are north of town and passed thru Zionsville a upscale newish area that feels like a typical Pa. Or New Jersey suburb. We then went Northeast of town trying to avoid some serious construction on 106th street- check the photos, more bike on the shoulder mud and rock foraging! Finally got to the Drury Inn not far from Ft Harrison state park. It is HOT (97) and humid. The farmland is pushed out from town and metropolis is pressing in on things, yikes I’m feeling like a country boy trapped by that there big city!!
